Colored Pencil. Did while waiting to hear how he's doing. 
(yes I have morning glories that look like this. I just took a little more artistic license.)
The scanner made EVERY little thing appear. Turn down the resolution? It makes all my colored pencil/graphite arts look scratchy.
(Emotional art piece. Kinda.)
I think I'm gonna do this in Corel Painter X. And burnish this in OSM. It probably won't be for sale so what's it gonna hurt?
BTW my fave colored pencil artists (professional) are Gary Greene and Alyona Nickelsen.
